Foolish women, they say
Are the ones who lead astray
With their deceitful ways
And their fickle hearts that sway
They chase after fleeting desires
And fall for every sweet-talking liars
Blinded by their own naivety
They become victims of society
Their heads may be filled with air
But their hearts are heavy with despair
For they know not what they seek
And end up feeling weak
They are often the ones who suffer
From the pain of a love that's a buffer
They give their all without a second thought
Only to realize they were never truly sought
They believe in fairytales and happy endings
But forget that reality is far from pretending
They long for a love that's perfect and true
But forget that it takes two to make it come through
They are easily swayed by words so sweet
And believe in promises that are hard to keep
They give their hearts away too soon
Only to have them broken by the light of the moon
Foolish women, they say
Are the ones who let emotions lead the way
They fail to see the warning signs
And end up with shattered hearts and broken minds
But who are we to judge and criticize
For we all have our own foolish ways in disguise
Love makes us do things we never thought we would
But it's a risk we take, for the feeling is just too good
So let us not label these women as fools
For love can make us all act like tools
Let us instead offer a helping hand
And understand that we all make mistakes in love's land
For foolish women are just like you and me
With hearts that are simply too blind to see
That love is not always a bed of roses
And sometimes it's the thorns that expose our true poses
So let us be kind and not quick to judge
For we all have our own battles to trudge
Let us learn to love and forgive
For in the end, that's the only way to truly live.
